Forestry processing generates massive volumes of sawdust and wood chips. Long viewed as low value byproducts, these category forestry waste materials hold tremendous carbon rich potential waiting to be unlocked. Zhengzhou Dingli’s Sawdust Pyrolysis Equipment brings targeted thermal pyrolysis technology onsite, converting wood based raw materials into market ready biochar without excessive waste output.
This continuous drum pyrolysis unit executes oxygen free thermal decomposition. Feed sawdust needs pretreatment to hit moisture below 15% and particle size under 30 mm. The complete pyrolysis line integrates a single layer pyrolysis host, multifuel preheating burner, combustible gas purification system, feeding conveyor, cooling discharge assembly and full set electric control hardware. Operators fine tune pyrolysis intensity, enabling finished biochar volatile matter residue adjustable within 10-25%.
Biochar yielded from sawdust thermal pyrolysis has diverse commercial outlets. It serves as premium biochar soil conditioner and agricultural biochar fertilizer to restore degraded farmland soil. Beyond agricultural scenarios, the pyrolysis output can be further manufactured into BBQ charcoal and shisha hookah charcoal.
Volatile combustible gas released throughout thermal pyrolysis is captured and reused as internal heat source, cutting external fuel expenditure and boosting overall energy efficiency. Patented pyrolysis optimized construction and advanced materials grant the equipment strong material tolerance, stable round the clock operation and long service lifespan. Auxiliary crushing and drying modules can be added to align with site-specific raw material conditions.
