Main Working Process of Biomass Pyrolysis Gasifier Plant

  • 1. Raw material pretreatment

    After the biomass raw materials are crushed by the pulverizer, they enter the drying and lifting device. The low-temperature flue gas at about 120°C is used to dry and lift the biomass particles to remove moisture.

  • 2. Pyrolysis gasification reaction

    The dried biomass particles enter the intermediate silo and are added to the middle and lower part of the gasification furnace through a screw feeder. They are quickly mixed with the circulating heat carrier and high-temperature gas to undergo high-temperature hydrogen pyrolysis reaction to generate high calorific value gas. The tar is completely decomposed during this process, mainly producing small molecular gases. The high-temperature materials are circulated back to the bottom of the furnace, where they undergo combustion reactions and gasification reactions with air and low-pressure steam at a high temperature of about 900°C to generate CO, H2, CO2, etc.

  • 3. Gas purification

    The gas at the outlet of the gasifier is passed through the first and second stages of horizontal gas-solid efficient separation, and the semi-coke and carrier are returned to the bottom of the fluidized bed through the return device as the gasification raw material; the fine powder separated by the third-stage separator is sent out as silicon potassium fertilizer. . After dust removal, the gas enters the waste heat boiler to recover heat, and then is purified and cooled by a two-stage moving bed before being sent to the power generation system.

  • 4. Gas power generation

    The purified gas directly enters the internal combustion engine to generate electricity; it can also be compressed and boosted before entering the gas turbine to generate electricity. The steam recovered from the waste heat enters the steam turbine to generate electricity, improving the overall power generation efficiency.
