Plastic pyrolysis technology: a green solution to white pollution

On the road to addressing the global plastic pollution crisis, pyrolysis equipment is showing revolutionary potential. This technology converts waste plastics into high-value energy products through high-temperature anaerobic cracking, realizing the transformation from "white pollution" to "black gold" and becoming a key link in the circular economy.
The core value of pyrolysis equipment lies in its innovative conversion mechanism. In a closed reaction system, plastic waste undergoes molecular chain breakage and recombination in an oxygen-deficient environment at 400-650°C. This process avoids dioxin pollution caused by incineration, and different plastic components are cracked in sequence through precise temperature control: polyolefins are converted into liquid fuel, polystyrene produces high-purity styrene monomer, and the chlorine element in PVC is effectively removed through pretreatment.
The breakthrough of pyrolysis equipment lies in its material adaptability. From polyethylene packaging film to composite electronic product housing, from agricultural film to fishing net rope, mixed plastics of different forms can be processed in a coordinated manner without fine sorting. This inclusiveness has greatly broadened the boundaries of plastic recycling, giving low-value waste plastics that are difficult to handle with traditional technologies a new lease of life.
As the global plastic ban is advancing, pyrolysis equipment is upgrading from auxiliary technology to mainstream solution. In the latest EU Waste Framework Directive, plastic pyrolysis is listed as a priority chemical recycling technology. When a silver-white pyrolysis device is running in the garbage treatment center, we see not only the disappearance of plastic, but also the establishment of a resource recycling model - those plastic bottles that once polluted the ocean are being converted into clean fuel to drive trucks through pyrolysis reactors.
