Which tires can be "turned into treasure" by pyrolysis equipment?

In the modern circular economy system, pyrolysis equipment is becoming a key technology to solve the "black pollution" dilemma. Faced with billions of waste tires produced every year in the world, traditional landfill and incineration treatment methods not only occupy land resources, but also pose environmental pollution risks. Advanced pyrolysis equipment successfully converts waste tires into high-value-added energy products through high-temperature oxygen-free cracking process, realizing resource recycling.
The processing adaptability of different types of tires is an important consideration for users when choosing pyrolysis equipment. Common small rubber products such as car tires and motorcycle tires can be directly put into the equipment for processing due to their relatively simple structure. For large products such as truck tires and engineering machinery tires, although they need to be pre-crushed to meet the equipment feed size requirements, they can also be efficiently converted through pyrolysis. It is worth noting that the steel cord in the tire does not need to be manually stripped, and it will be automatically separated and recycled during the pyrolysis process, significantly improving the processing efficiency.
The core value of pyrolysis equipment lies in its innovative conversion process. In a closed reactor, the tire undergoes thermal cracking reaction in an oxygen-deficient environment at 280℃-450℃, and the macromolecular rubber chain breaks and reorganizes. This process produces three-state products: liquid fuel oil can be directly used in industrial boilers; solid carbon black can be used as an additive for rubber products; and separated steel wire can be recycled for smelting. What is more commendable is that the pyrolysis equipment recycles the gas produced by cracking as a heat source through a combustible gas recovery system to form a self-sufficient energy closed loop.
The environmental benefits of this technology are particularly prominent. Compared with open-air incineration, the tail gas purification system equipped with the pyrolysis equipment can effectively remove harmful substances such as dioxins, and the emission indicators are far better than international standards. Calculated based on the treatment of 10,000 tons of waste tires, it is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 15,000 tons, saving more than 5 mu of landfill land, and producing about 4,500 tons of industrial fuel oil and 3,500 tons of carbon black raw materials.
As global environmental protection regulations become increasingly stringent, the application prospects of pyrolysis equipment in the field of solid waste treatment are broad. This technology not only solves the problem of waste tire disposal, but also creates a "resource-product-renewable resource" cycle model. When waste tires are converted into industrial raw materials through pyrolysis equipment, we see not only the disappearance of pollutants, but also the redefinition of the green value contained in black rubber.
